Material properties
Local heating with oxyacetylene flame can be used to achieve partial quench hardening: the hardened area will be hardened, heated to light red (850-950 ° C) and then cooled in air.
In order to prevent the mold from cracking due to excessive stress, tempering should be carried out at 150 ~ 200 ℃ and the surface hardness can reach 45 ~ 50HRC after flame hardening.
Note that in the flame hardening treatment, the mold should be 150-200 ℃: preheating to prevent mold cracking. Nitriding mold can get high hardness of the surface organization, nitrided surface smooth and dense, with good corrosion resistance, is conducive to product touch and improve production efficiency.

Thermal processing specifications
The starting temperature of 1050 ℃, the termination temperature of 850 ℃, furnace cooling.
Quenching norms
Preheat temperature 500 a 600`C, insulation 2 a 4h, then rose to 850 a 880 ℃, insulation ≥ 2h, the oil cooled to 50 ~ 100 ℃, and then air-cooled, hardness 50 a 53HRC, quench cracking in order to prevent tempering immediately deal with.
Quality Condition
1. Both end of each bar must be cut as require
2. Ladle furnanced and vacuum de-gassed
3. Show heat No. on each bar
4. Surface condition the surface of the hot rolled square bar shall befree cracks, scar and wrinkles that affect the use of the billets. In case there is the above-mentioned defect, it shall be remove.
5. The mill test certificate shall show the chemical composition, and it is guaranteed that the chemical composition shall be within the limit stipulated in the contract.
